January-March 2007: mapping for 10-th Balkan championship

On January, in vicinities of Istanbul has finished surveying of maps for 10-th Balkan championship which takes place in September of this year and for 5 days orienteering (October 2007). All maps are placed in the European part and on it time to me was not possible to draw something in Asia. There was a theoretical variant of mapping of island in the Sea of Marmara, but time for it does not remain. The forest was mostly in beechen woods with known prickly lianes. Fortunately this time the wood has appeared much more cleanly, but in a southern part of a map through thrickets I have finally torn 2 pairs trousers. It would be desirable to note good accommodation in sports hotel Sariyer. A feed was especially good when with us the combined team of boxers lived. In their absence it would wish to be the best. For all time weather was excellent. Month with us studied elements of cartography Ibrahim which in the end has told, that now one year is necessary to him to have a rest. For 48 days I have prepared nearby 7 s. Km in "Belgrad orman" and park near to Bosporus. Thanks Turkish orienteering federation and host «IOG» for the good organization of cartographical works.
