I prefer to make the maps for foot orienteering competition.

SERVICE INCLUDES:

Fieldwork using of base materials or work from a “white paper” (it takes 30% more time, sometimes even more)
Drawing in OCAD9
Design (if necessary) and preparation of files for the printing

I stick to the opinion: “One orienteering map – one mapper”.I have a skeptical opinion about the maps made by a large group (more then 2) of mappers.

AS A RULE:
I survey complicated areas. Simple maps don’t give me satisfaction. I map villages and private properties (non-orienteering areas) absolutely without enthusiasm.
I draw only my own surveyed areas in the same evening to guarantee minimum loss of information.
With all of my pleasure, I do surveying for the top level competitions or in countries I’ve never mapped before.
I work practically in the any weather conditions. Temperature could be -10°C or +35°C. Rain or snow (less then 10 cm) are not a problem for me but they definitely will slow down my work. The optimal weather conditions are: dry weather with temperature +1°C +25°C.
Every "mapping day" I spend up 8-11 hours for fieldwork.

IT IS NECESSARY TO POINT THAT:
I don’t correct old maps, but make completely new fieldwork.
I follow the beforehand coordinated schedule.

If you want to invite me, please choose interesting complicated areas and send to me a
request.
